The University of Florida’s interactive campus map is a useful starting point for finding campus landmarks and planning a route. UF also provides printable and interactive parking maps, so you can check parking locations alongside your destination.

The self-guided tour map marks the J. Wayne Reitz Student Union, Marston Science Library, Turlington Hall, Century Tower, University Auditorium, Library West, and the Stephen C. O’Connell Center as points of interest. Turlington Hall opened in 1977 and is home to the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

The Reitz Union is a substantial stop in its own right: it houses the UF Bookstore, Welcome Center, Career Connections Center, Student Activities and Involvement, food vendors, a game room, retail stores, and meeting venues, as well as the Reitz Hotel.

If you’re planning a visit to Century Tower, use the campus map to place it in relation to the other stops you want to see.

Century Tower, the Reitz Union, The Hub, and several other campus landmarks are about a 24-minute walk from University Inn. Their listed walking times range from about 23 to 27 minutes, making the hotel a practical base for a campus visit.

Century Tower and University Auditorium are both identified on UF’s self-guided tour map. The auditorium is also a separate destination to plan around; see this guide to University Auditorium for visitor details. For a sports-focused visit, use the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium visitor guide to plan around the stadium.

UF Admissions offers weekday, student-led campus tours that pair a short information session with a 60-minute walk. Tours run while classes are in session, but are not offered during break weeks or state and university holidays.

Registration opens roughly four to six weeks ahead. Choose an available date on the calendar and sign up; availability can vary, so check UF’s Admissions information when planning.

If you prefer to go at your own pace, the self-guided tour is available through the GatorWay app. UF suggests starting at the Reitz Union and following the guided-tour route in the same order.

Campus access depends on the purpose of your visit. Many cultural and athletic events, the bookstore, libraries, and dining halls are open to the public. Academic and administrative facilities are generally for people on campus for study, work, teaching, or other university business, and building access schedules can vary.

Where visitors can park

Where visitors can park

UF offers an online daily permit for Main Campus or East Campus, but campus parking is not guaranteed. The permit costs $8 plus a $0.25 transaction fee and is purchased through the Passport Parking app.

With an online daily permit, park in a designated Orange, Blue, or Green permitted space, then start a Passport Parking session using the zone for your campus: 67264 for Main Campus or 3278 for East Campus.

UF also directs visitors to Transportation and Parking Services for details on Welcome Center and Garage 5 parking, UF Health Shands parking, disabled parking, and daily visitor passes. Temporary permits, daily or hourly pay facilities, and metered spaces may also be options when you pay the required fee.

Visitors with a state-issued disabled-persons parking permit or license plate may use designated disabled spaces and non-reserved decal-restricted spaces. For an accommodation, contact UF’s ADA Office at ADA-504@ufl.edu or 352-294-1060, providing the visit’s purpose, place, and date, along with the accommodation requested. If you have official business at a campus office and need point-to-point transportation, notify that office.
